Sore hands

I am a veterinary technician and have been for close to 4 years. I work with my hands a lot and more times than not my hands are very sore. The worst part is the joint or knuckle below my thumb. The only way to get temporary relief is to have my fiance crack it. I have tried not doing that in case that was the problem, but the pain builds until it's almost impossible to do things normally. Any ideas anyone. Thank you in advance.

You can try a paraffin bath at home.  They make paraffin with lavender that feels wonderful on your hands and feet.  Once done, roll up the wax and reuse it saving your money.

I came upon a great new product- the Herbal Soak Swirl and Soothe coming out in December. You put your hand in the therapy device and water gently swirls around your hand using Epsom salts and healing herbs. I am definitely buying this product! it sure beats using a bowl.

That same joint is the one that hurts me most too.  Luckily I don't work, but it does get painf;l doing hobbies, etc.  You can get an injection that may relieve the pain for a while.  Gosh, crack it.  Ouch!!

Only other thing I can suggest is pain killers.  Have you seen a doctor about it?
