Weakness and shaking

I have been told in the past that I have hypoglycemia. That was over 5 Years ago, but now my symptoms are more severe and happen without food issues. I begin to shake and feel extremely weak. My heart seems to pound so fast and I feel anxious and out of sorts. It can be hard to contentrate and focus. My muscles feel heavy and hard to control. Any idea what this could be?

well this could be the hypoglycemia, i too have it but dont often have symptoms because i eat constantly and eat candy often. but i am no doctor so you should definately ask your doctor about it. hypoglycemia seems to be thought of as not serious, but in fact its just as serious as diabetes, and also can progress like diabetes. you may have been told this 5 years ago but it may have progressed to a higher level. it could be worse. you need to have your doctor check your blood sugar levels. and if its not the hypoglycemia then you need to find out what it is. good luck to you and take care

What a horrible feeling!  It could be a number of things from a panic attack on to more serious issues (although panic attacks feel real serious when you are suffering with them!)  Please go see your doctor and have this checked out.  Let us know what you find out!  Wishing you well!
