I to suffer from Arthritis, Rheumathoid to be precise. I had joint pains throught my life as long as I can remember. But the worst attack came when I was in college early 2001. I had lived 17 years of my life in a real hot climate where tempraturs used to sore upto 40 degrees and my college was on a hill station. I started in winters when I was returning back home that the pain started. It started with severe keen pain then it went to my shoulders, neck, fingers and ankles. I was barely able to move it used to take me an hour to walk .5 kms as it was a hill station and travelling used to kill me.
I was on pain killers but that never helped. Heat was the only thing that gave some relif were the massages my dad used to give me on my joints. But since then I have never faced that Pain anymore. I have face the cold rather than run away into a jacket 'coz i guess it would come back to me sooner or later so lets make the body used to the cold.
I do get sore feet where then entire sole hardens. But I try to stay warm, move around a lot even if i'm in the office. stretching every half an hour. apart from that I'havent done anything else..
So is there any precations that I need to take.
Regards
Deepak
It depends on what kind of arthritis and what part of your body is effected. What specific concerns do you have? Are there any other conditions present besides arthritis?
