off balance

I was finally diagnosed with B-12 defficiency after 10 years of pain on the entire left side of my body, im not sure i completely believe that is the problem, however since i got my b-12 injection it has happened maybe 4 days in a month instead of 30. Can someone please help me I have been to many neurologists, pcp's rheumatologist, chriopractors and PT's. I have pain on the entire left side of my body from my forhead to my toe, it feels like someone drew a line down the middle of my body and injected my left side of my body with air (painfull air). I also have pain in my back from the middle to the top. I thought all was well after I got my b-12 injection and now im taking supplements however, since about a week after the injection i have an off-balance feeling when i walk and a tingling in my head.(constant) this went away for about a week but just came back...total of 2 months now. I went to the ear nose and throat Dr who said ears are fine, had a echo of heart which was fine....can anyone put any of these symptoms together for me and tell me if the off-balance is a result of the B-12 or just another symptom in my saga?

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.  I had a flare - I hope you understand.
I am very concerned that this is moving into your right side but a change in your presentation may present the exact clue needed!  Please don't give up.  You are your best advocate and you have to keep going.  I have been through an awful lot lately and have been "faking" it until I can really do it.  While we can't fake everything, we can motivate ourselves by saying, "how would I handle this if I felt better?"  And some how muster the strength to follow that path.  It is not easy, but I will be here to help you along the way.  I may not have the answers, but I will do what I can to help you get through this.  You are not alone.  Most of us either are or have been a medical mystery to our docs.  Persistence is the key.  Hang in there and pick up the phone and call the next doctor and get an appt.  This may be the one who can put the puzzle together.

You present quite a puzzle.  Have you posted in the ask a doctor neurology forum?  I will keep digging as I can't seem to get your symptoms off my mind, so far I have nothing to offer except encouragement to keep going.

Do you have any other symptoms?  Did the pain start in one location and radiate to the rest of your left side?  What supplements are you taking?  What tests have you had run?  What meds have they tried?  What are you taking now besides the B12 shots?
I know you wrote that you have seen 8 neurologists, but sometimes it is the 9th or even the 15th before we get to one who can diagnose a rare condition or one that does not present with the most common symptoms.  Have you tried posting in the ask a doctor forum for neurology?

oh i cant tell you how many neurologists i have seen....maybe like 8...they say there is nothing wrong and one day if i cant move my limbs then come back...i heard that from at least 3....i did tell my dr that i am off balance, he said it can not be caused by the injection but he did tell me to stop the supplements...as soon as i do a couple days later my pain comes back....i would rather be off balance then in pain so i take them again...i guess all i need to do is really stop them for a couple weeks to see.

While this is definitely another symptom in your saga (and boy can I relate to that feeling!) it could be due to the injection.  Have you contacted your doctor?  If not you should.
Regarding the symptoms you are having prior to the shot, have you seen a neurologist?  With your pain being regionalized, that may be a path you want to pursue.
