Does marijuana help? I have heard it can be used for pain, but have no personal knowledge. I tried it last year for asthma, and it certainly did help. It's worth a try.
Hello, I am 27 yo male with chronic lower back/abdominal pain, still undiagnosed been almost 3 years.. at least they "think" i May have Fibromyalgia, the ankylonsing spondylitis was "equivoque" any advice?

I agree that the doctor this lady went to is hardly the sympathetic type, and he should have taken other treatments into consideration, but what is wrong with telling a patient that being fat is part of the problem? Does this have to do with political correctness? Does sugar-coating the obvious actually help anyone?
Hi and thanks for using the forum.
Have you tried seeing a physical therapist? He/she can help you strengthen the muscles in your back and the rest of your core which can alleviate your back pain. Of course, losing weight will also help. As far as the second doctor that you went to "your fat....", I highly recommend that you not go back to him/her. Good luck and don't give up!
