If i go to the doctor and get treated for a bacteria affection and have unprotected sex with my partner could I get it again? Does my boyfriend need medicine too?

Thanks for using the forum.

If you have had an infection, your partner should also be checked and treated. Otherwise there is a good chance that you could pass the infection back and forth. Additionally, I recommend that you consider using condoms until you both get a clean bill of health to prevent future infection.

I hope this helps.
