is it normal for my period to be longer??

I had a miscarriage on the forth of march. My cycle is usually on the 25 of each month. After the miscarriage i had a new. sex partner. We used condoms but we got the condom stuck in me a day later we went to the doctor and got it out the doctor said it was a high risk of me being pregnant again and she said the baby will be healthy if we did. So after that we had tried to get pregnant I started my period on the 26 of march my periods usually last three days but its been 6 days and I am still on my period. The first five days of bleeding it didn't feel like I was on my period but just today it feels more like it because its more heavy and constant the other five days it was kind of light and rarely filled the pad. Should I be worried?

It is not unusual to experience changes in your cycle after a miscarriage. It takes some time for your hormones and your body to return to "normal". If your period continues past 7-10 days I would recommend that you speak with your doctor.

I experienced a slight change in my cycle as well after my miscarriage I believe it is just your body adjusting and it should get back to normal. Or quite possibly change to a new cycle like I did after my c-section with my daughter
