is this normal?

My baby will be very active for a couple days. then for a couple days he rarely moves at all. Today, he has moved some, but not very much. even when i poke him he won't move. I'm 29 weeks today.. is this normal?

Babies have sleep and awake times just like we do. Sometimes when a baby is quiet and not moving a lot, they are sleeping. You should be able to notice your baby moving at different times during the day. If it has been a while and you are concerned, try having a snack and then sitting or lying down in a quiet place for a while. Focus on counting the movements that you feel. If you remain concerned, I would recommend speaking with your doctor.

Even if it's a teeny tiny move, you should feel him move once an hour unless he is sleeping. Some babies aren't active, but you may need to talk to your Obg.
