period for over 8 weeks

I'm 25 and I have been bleeding for over 8 weeks. I came off my depo 3 months ago and have had heavey flow and light flow. now its really heavy. I'm feeling weak and have extremely sore period pains and I tried to book an appointment with doctor but all are fully booked till tuesday. I don't know what to do. My boyfriend is really worried and my hormones are going crazy :( what shall I do? Go into ane? Or wait.

It is not uncommon to have heavier bleeding after coming off Depo. However, if you are feeling weak you need to be checked by a doctor. Heavy menstrual bleeding can cause anemia. You should have your blood pressure and you flood counts checked by a doctor.

I got off the depo 4 years ago and bled non stop for 3 years straight till I finally found out we were having another baby! Never again will I get on that thing I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy!

Hi , My Mom Also Had Depo And When She Came Off She Said She Was Bleeding Uncontrollably The Doctors Told Her Everyones Body Reacts Differently But Just To Be Sure Your Okay I Think You Should Go To Emergency , Hope This Helps Loove .
