spinal fusion pain
I had a lumbar spinal fusion September 24 2009, i am still in so much pain,cant walk well stand bath in tub,cant turn over without severe pain.Sneezing, coughing, makes it pop and cause severe pain.Laying down for just 10 minutes im hurting and cant walk after lying down i have to use cane and dresser to make myself move about, is this pain suppose to last this long????
On 3/3/10 had my surgery'spinal fusion2 begining to experience right pain leg from the midle of my buttocks all the way down to my ankle.I also get it on my left leg but not as bad the pain is more tolerable.The right feels so bad I drink my tears literally its a pain inside of my leg dont know how to describe it and the pressure starts in midle of buttock calf is tender fusion was done on L4 L5 is this commom and how long will it last

Every body is different in the healing process. I think you need to discuss you pain with you surgeon. You might benefit from some physical therapy to help with pain relief and rehab. Good Luck.
