stomach pains

ok so I woke up this morning and I had a really really sharp pain in my stomach as if someone had stabbed me and left the knife there and it still really hurts and I just took midol a little while ago for the pain but its not working and I am allergic to IB prophen so what do I do? I have no other meds. in the house but all I really want to know is what could have caused this.

well it wasn't that it has something to do with acid reflex bbut thank you anyway

I am not a medical professional, but when was your last bowl movement, sometimes that happens to me when I get constipated.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

It sounds like you may have seen the doctor since you think it is related to acid reflux.  IF you did not see a doctor yet and experience these symptoms frequently ( more than twice a week) you should get checked out.   There are a multitude of medications as well as lifestyle changes that can greatly reduce reflux.  Also, chronic reflux can cause damage to the esophogus, so be sure to get checked out if you have recurring symptoms.  Good luck.
