Dear tucsonranch:

I apologize for the delayed response.

You can take pregabalin (Lyrica) and sertraline (Zoloft) together. However, please note there are additive side effects when taking the two together. They both may cause patients to feel tired, dizzy and drowsy. In addition, patients may have impaired mental function and loss of balance. Please avoid driving and drinking alcohol while taking these medications.

Here are more information on the 2 medications:
1. Pregabalin (Lyrica) - MedlinePlus
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a605045.html

2. Sertraline (Zoloft)- MedinePlus
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a697048.html

It is a good idea to review your medication and medical condition with your physician and pharmacist at least once a year. Make sure you have regular follow-up visits with these two medications.

If you experience adverse drug effect(s), please contact your physician and pharmacist right away. Please report serious adverse drug effects to the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program by:
1. calling 1-800-332-1088, or
2. go online:http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch

Yes. Just watch for increased drowsiness/dizziness at first
