A quick question

Hello!

There's a friend of mine who has graduated from high school and enrolled in med university. He is really passionate about medicine and also much hardworking. The thing is, he has bronchial asthma. Is this decision going to be wise for his own health generally? I know med students have tons of stuff to study and numerous sleepless nights. Is this career a good idea for asthmatics? TY in advance.

Sure, so long as he manages his asthma and pays attention to his body. Medical school is tough, of course, but so are many other careers, and he should be fine. :)

Here are a bunch of articles, slideshows, etc., that may help him learn to manage it better if he's struggling - https://www.medicinenet.com/search/mni/bronchial%20asthma
