Hey,
About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with Acute Bacterial Sinusitis.
After 3 days of Amoxicillin I was emitted to hospital because of an unexpected reaction where my throat got extremely tight and my mouth dried up like the Sahara.
Following this the hospital put me on Zyrtec and Prednisolone for a week.
Shortly thereafter I went back to the doctor complaining about shortness of breath and a white tongue. I was told my tongue is most likely caused by the antibiotics and steroids. I was given Doxycycline and Ventolin to help me breathe and get rid of a minor throat infection.
That was November 8th. It’s now December and I’m still short of breath. No matter how much I use the inhaler.
It’s worse when I go to bed but is at its peak when I wake up early feeling as if I forgot to breathe all night. My chest will feel tight and I’ll feel lightheaded. I’m always tired.
I catch my breath within the hour but chest discomfort stays around for hours.
I’m a 20 year old male, no history of cancer, I don’t smoke or drink alchohol, I’m not overweight and I eat Healthy. If that helps.
— side note;
2 months back I had my bloods done and a chest X-ray and all was well. My blood oxygen is 99.6% and my blood pressure is normal.
