Sudden chest pain and breathing problems

Hello, well to start off I have never had these problems before. I stopped breathing twice in the same day within a few minutes of each other and had to be given rescue breathes. Since then I have had chest pains and pains in the middle of my upper back. I have trouble taking a deep breath. I have had ekg's and all kinds of other test ran at the er. I don't know what to do from here. Any suggestions?

You can easily develop a reaction to latex the more you use the more likely you are to develop an allergy. I development mine after working in child care for 5+ years.

I was not exposed to anything new. I wear gloves and have never had a reaction to them. My airway was clear because the person who was with me was able to give me mouth to mouth and had no problems getting air to go in.

When you could not breath were you exposed to any new chemicals and if you work in housekeeping do you use latex gloves?

Could it have been severe reflux?  And it cut your airways off ?  Just an off the wall thought, but possible maybe like a laryngospasm.

I know it isn't gas. I wish, that would make things alot easier. I didn't mention that I work in housekeeping at a hospital. So I come into contact with all sorts of nasty things.

Welcome to the forum.
Look into Pathogenic Mycoplasma Infections.
It conforms with the following:
1. Systemic -meaning it affects any system or systems
2. Sudden onset.
3. Not detectable by most scans, tests. MRIs, ECGs.
Hope the gas pill will work. That would simplify matters for you!
Please research carefully and if you need more info, let me know.
These pathogens can be nasty, elusive and extremely invasive!

I would think broken rib or ribs, but that would not have caused you to stop breathing and they would have found it in the ER. How about a serious case of gas? That can hurt like the devil and can definitely constrict your breathing. You can try a gas pill. They are over-the-counter and work quickly. (Gas has constricted my breathing.)
