Toddler with Asthma
I have a 3 year old who has a light case of asthma he takes Cingular at night. HIs doctor didn't say anything about berating treatments. he has been on Cingular for 6 months and today he cant seem to stop coughing. what do you suggest to help him to breath a little easier.
By Cingular, do you mean Singulair? I used it for a while and, if I remember correctly, I found it drying. Ask your doctor if that is what is causing the cough.
light case of asthma can be treated by ventolin inhaler in aero chamber , I also have asthmatic kids

His doctor hasn't given him any type of inhaler. He also said to try to take him off of singular every once in a whale and see how he is doing with out it. and that is why he stated to cough again. when on singular he doesn't cough nearly as much. I just don't know how to help him breath easier when he is coughing so much, that is his wheeze.
