My daughter has Aspberger and is 12. She started her cycle last year.
I have to constantly remind her to wash her hands, put her sanitaries in the trash not left exposed, stop touching her area complaining her sanitary itches, and check herself regularly. I have the worst luck with her undergarments. White is best as bleach is needed to keep them clean.
Plus she blurts to every stranger about it in detail.
I have to put depends on her at bedtime.
The worst is when she will sit on my lap and say things like,
"I left you a gift" as if it is something to joke about. I wish she had started later, but that is life.
I feel ridiculous taking priveledges from her over this behavior.
I feel digusted and frustrated.
I also have a 13 year old son who has Autism. I am not looking forward to his puberty which has started.

I would talk to her doctor about it.
