Thank you very much for your comment. It is too hard to accept the reality. My son's trying but I don't know whether I can. Your answer has convinced me to get him into yoga or some stretching excercises. And what about all those supplements advertised on the internet, are they safe? CellGevity, MaxGXL, Riboceine (glutefaion) sound ok because my son' s got fatty? liver, his suger's up a bit, results of hormone treatment. If you know anything about the above products could you please tell me your personal opinion? Thanks again for commenting, I do appreciate
Hi!
I am sorry but your son’s doctor is right. Your son is almost 5 feet tall. After 15 years, boys without GH deficiency just grow about an inch or more. So, if the child in GH deficient, the height increase could be hardly a cm or so. In such cases, it is important to accept the child with this height, get shoes with some heels, and build up the confidence of the child. Its important to raise his self esteem and worth. Some stretching exercises and yoga poses may help gain another cm or so. A child who has gone through so much, is usually brave, and a height, marginally less than others should not be a deterrent to enjoying a meaningful life. Take care!
