ANA 1:160, but really weird symptoms.

I went to my Rhumatologist on Tuesday, and all my tests came back negative except for my ANA titer being high (which I know can be a fluke) because my ANA was also homogenized. My huge problem is, my numbness, headaches, brain fog and headaches have gotten worse. I've been told that the only way someone can be tested for lupus or know if they have lupus is the blood test results. I feel almost crazy and I'm starting to realize if I've lost my mind because my numbness and tingling and my lmyph nodes get so swollen and hurt throughout my body, to the point I want to cry and I've been having very nasty bruising, and problems with purpura. But since I know my tests are negative, I'm not sure where to go or what to do. I need suggestions the pain, and not being able to eat or lay down because the swollen feeling in my lymph nodes are so bad that I end up choking.

And before I'm suggested to go to a new rhuemy, there aren't any other's to go to. So I'm not sure what to do.

Hi Derpyshy.
Your name sounded familiar and looked up your profile.
I found out I had replied to your question a couple months ago in the Lupus forum.
Did you check it out?
The information in my reply still applies.
Interesting, you are in Three Rivers, MI.
I have good friends living not far from there, in Kalamazoo, MI., where there are so many specialists who cover just about any medical field.

Best wishes,
Niko

Yeah I checked it out. I didn't think there were really any doctors in Kalamazoo. Most of the doctors they want me to see are all the way in like Lansing and what not.
Hey Derpyshy.
Apparently there are at least 14 Rheumatologists in Kalamazoo area.
I know that my friend's mother in-law in Kalamazoo has seen a few different ones over the years for her arthritis.
I would call your PCP, or whoever arranges this, and let them know your preference to see a Rheumy closer to you in Kalamazoo.
Cheers,
Niko
