Do I have Sjogren's Syndrome?

I was diagnosed with thickened vocal chords in 2010 after spinal fusion surgery.  The surgery lasted 12 hrs and anesthesia was Propofol.  That seemed to be the start of almost everything.  I have always had dry mouth.  I am now  in the progress of getting veneers and bridges since my teeth became so damaged.  I have dry eyes, dry skin, joint pain, back pain and continuously have MRSA.  My family  doctor died a couple of years ago.  The doctor replacing him is young and wants to send me to specialists for everything.  He doesn't even do bloodwork without a recommendation from another doctor.  I thought your family doctor was supposed to take care of everything.
