I have a lot of dx but no answers.

Two yrs I started noticing extreme fatguie and muscle pain. And it a a lot worst I went from running 40 miles a week to being in bed 70% of the time. I was dx with fibromyalgia then RA, Lupus- I don't know about this on since labs do not show lupus. My labs are all normal except my liver enmzymes go up and down. Now liver biopsy shows chronic triaditis with mild increase in periportal fibrosis and mild hepatocellular injury pattern;mild cholestasia, with portal triacde expanded by chronic inflammatory cell infiltrate.
All labs are still normal except wbc now mildly low. After liver biopsy I felt awful like a lupus flare.

Is this autoimmune or two things-something going on with my liver and RA or lupus?

Sometimes karrie Doctor do scare you. One thing I've been told about the liver is it is the only organ in your body that you can remove most of it and it will grow itself back to it's normal size.

Next time you see your Doctor be honest with him and tell him what is scareing you and before you see him look up every thing you can on your P.C. and go to him 100% prepared.

Oh and I am not always so upbeat there are days that all I do is sleep (trying to excape) and cry. Crying I think is good for ya and never ever feel like how you feel or what is going on in your life is minor, you don't want to be like me I really do freak out over a hangnail.

I'll let you on a little secret..My good things for the day is ..I got to watch anything on T.V. today cause hubby was tired and had a long nap.Whoohooo no sports!!!!

wow! I am so impressed. You are so positive and upbeat yet you have a ton more things going on than I do. I feel guilty express my issues. I think the hardest part is not knowing what is wrong with me. I am really worried about my liver involvement. My GI doc has really got me scared. I like the dairy idea maybe I will find one online. Thanks for being there. Karrie

Sorry about stopping I must have pushed the wrong button, so now I will go on.

(2) Since it is so thick in 2003 I was at a Lupus convention in another State and on my way back to my home state I had an arotic anuerysm break, (I didn't know I had one) I don't remember it yet my hubby and friends have filled in the blanks. I had to have my arotia replaced and a bypass to both legs. Also because of lack of blood flow I had gangrene up to my knees and almost up to my elbows for 3 years. I did  keep all of my limbs just lost my toes on my right foot and the top of my middle finger on my right hand.

(3) Once I even had 4 clots go threw my heart and into my lungs at once.

(4) between the Antibody and Lupus I have had 4 right brain strokes and 3 heart attacks and have been on life supports 6 times in my life.

(5) Many people with this Antibody cannot have children, it's not like they can't get preggo they just don't get enough blood to the baby.

My lupus one day in 2007 decided to attack my right kidney, it blew up at home. I woke up 2 months later in the hospital. The doctors had to take it out. My kidney doctor said my left kidney works better then when I had two.. LOL.

Now hun I hope I haven't scared you , most people don't have as many things go wrong as I do, yet I find it to be a blessing for if I wasn't sick how would I be able to help people

I'm doing great right now. I made a promise to myself at the beginning of 2010 that unless I really need to go see one of my many Doctors then I wouldn't go,some times it was so bad I would see Doctors 4 to 5 times a week (yuck)

I remember once the docs told me I would never be able to get out of my wheelchair, HAAA!!!. I only use it now if I am going shopping or a loong way to walk otherwise I have this fancy walker and some day that woin't be needed either.

I don't mean to preach yet if The Lord wasn't with me I'm sure I wouldn't be alive.
I also do another thing that you might like to do , I keep a private diary where I can scream and oh my sometimes cuss, yet no matter what I write in my diary I have to write down 3 happy things , like I have a beutiful pale yellow rose in my garden or My child has a pretty smile.

If you have any other questions or just need to talk to someone I'm here.

Hi Karrie hope your having a good day.

I take alot of different kinds of medications, (14 different ones) so my liver isn't the best yet I would be alot worse if I didn't take my meds.

What is Anticardiolipid Antibodies? Well it does alot of weird things so far with me.
(1) Makes my blood very very thick, I was taking Coumadin for over 20 years yet in 2007 I started to bleed inside , I had almost a gallon of blood between my heart and my heart sac, then a month and a half later I bleed inside my lung. So no more blood thinner for me. They tried plan Asprin yet after taking up to 2600 mgs a day all I got was a gut ache, didn't thin my blood at all.

HI..I also have Lupus/Fibromyalgia/RA / Anticardiolipid Antibodies and I'm a Diabedic so yeah you can have them all at once.

What I do is keep a note pad near me so if I have something to ask my Doc then I write them down, that way you can take your questions with you to go to the Doctors.

When I go see my at first the only thing I say to him is, then I hand it to him and then we talk about what I wrote.

My appointment have become more relaxed and I don't seem to stay in as long.

Take Care
