Lupus, POTS, hives

Hello all. I have had hives all over my body in as many as 15 different locations at the same time. I've tried singular, zyrtec, Claritin, benadryl, oatmeal baths and nothing helps in the least. In the last day I've also experienced headache and nausea. No new foods, drinks or environmental changes.

Please note I also have multiple diseases such as Lupus, Posteral orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, gastroparisis, etc.

Your body is reacting to the toxins and bacteria from undiagested foods remaining in the stomach for extended time.
You must have developed nutritional deficiencies which should be checked ASAP!.
Forget the drugs for the hives and concentrate your efforts eliminating the cause, the only approach which will bring you effective resolution.
Conditions/imbalances preceding your diagnoses must be investigated and treated, as well as those developed after your diagnoses.
Are you diabetic? If yes, insulin can cause intestinal damage , so you should take it after meals!
Have you ruled out hypothyroidism?
This  could be one of the underlying causes in Lupus, Gastroparesis and possibly a factor in POTS (other factors are diabetes, hypovolemia, adrenal fatigue and others).
Other things to specifically look into is magnesium deficiency (tissue levels), associated with vagus nerve damage, which is a likely causative factor in Gastroparesis. and other deficiencies like vitamin D3,  digestive enzymes and methylocobalamin B12
Probiotics of the highest quality would also help, specially if your intestinal flora is compromised .
Best wishes,
Niko

I take vitamin d3 2000Iu daily as well as a probiotic and magnesium everyday. I am not diabetic, so no insulin. Recent thyroid lab was normal. The Healthcare in this town is lacking. Can you recommend a spacific list of tests I can ask for? Also a gal on my lupus support group mentioned mass cell issues? Thank you so much for your help.
Oral magnesium has extremely low
effectiveness. Look into transdermal magnesium oil.
Have you had your vitamin D levels checked recently?
If you have vitamin D resistance you would need much higher levels of D3
For thyroid, ask and insist for Free T3, Free T4 and Reverse T3.
I have studied the work of Dr. Barnes, one of the top Thyroid doctors ever!
Among the thousands of patients he treated for hypothyroidism-with natural desiccated thyroid-NONE of his patients developed Lupus!
And from the ones already diagnosed with Lupus, NONE developed any new signs of  organ involvement, while being treated by Dr. Barnes for hypothyroid.

Mast cell issues. Hmm this is a bit complex.
Mast cells are normally protective but
in Mast cell activation disease they get dysregulated and accumulate
around various parts and organs in the body and when triggered they cause HAVOC, releasing inflammatory chemicals.
MTHFR genetic mutation, mainly the A1298, or chronic malabsorption issues, could be  predisposing factors causing a 5-MTHF deficiency, which in turn affects BH4 levels, a cause( Low BH4 conversion) of mast cell degranulation and also affecting serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine and melatonin synthesis and much more.
It's not that complicated to treat the MTHFR mutation and its resulting consequences, however, it is very demanding in terms of continuous monitoring, adjusting tweaking  & dosing of MTHFR supplements according to symptoms & changes.
You would benefit  greatly if you could find a good Functional Medicine or Naturopathic Doctor who's familiar with these conditions and offers distance consultation by skype or facetime.
Best wishes,
Niko
