lung infection??

Hi,
spend my winters south.i have been feeling ill for months( thought it was allergies)
Returned home and got worse.Went to DR treated me for a lung infection.
Stopped couching but so very tired .and my stomach still bothers me.
Some one suggested I had valley fever……….does this ever go away.
One day I feel fine the next day I am exhausted.(?)
My xrays came back normal and my blood work OK.
So why do i feel so tired and unwell.

Your doctor of 20 years, followed the recommended treatment for Cocci
However, In light of you having a compromised immune system,
Hmm, I wonder if intravenous amphotericin B, would have been a better choice right from the beginning, which I'm fairly sure, you will be given, should the fluconazole not be effective to clear up the infection.

As an adjunct to this, you may safely supplement with 2 Tablespoons of virgin organic coconut oil daily to start and increase to 3 tablespoons the following week. It will give you an energy boost, as it gets metabolized in the liver and used directly for energy unlike other fats and carbs.
It is also a great antifungal agent, more effective than anti-fungal drugs and it is antimicrobial, antiparasitic and antiviral as well!
You could not ask for a better functional medicinal food!

High platelet count. What were you given for this and was it deemed reactive or essential? This could be due to your inflammation (was there a specific diagnosis given to you by the Calgary doctor? please provide details)

Patience is rewarding. You must finish the 21 day  fluconazole treatment
and possibly go through the  intravenous amphotericin B treatment, as well, before you clear this up, barring any undetected underlying serious issues.

Best wishes.

hello,
thanks for the note
I live in Chandler Arizona.I started feeling not good last Feb.I was there during a serious dust storm….plus I cycled everyday and worked in the garden.
I did not get acutely ill until I returned to calgary.Sick in bed cold sweats, low grade fever, aches pains couch.Too sock to take myself to the doctor. When this phase passsed i took myself to a doctor in calgary. She did blood work.Tested positive for I"inflammation".This med ication helped somewhat. But still not feeling good.Returned  to doctor,my platlette(?) counts were high…so I went on another med.(This was for stomach problems.
These symptoms  went away.
But I was still not feeling well. She told me i will feel this way for a while because i had a "lung infection"
A month past and I decided to go to a doctor who has known me for 20 years( 300 miles away).
He has treated me  with mylan fluconazole-21 days.
I am into the eight day……in the begining i felt great. Now i have lingering  effects……NO energy(from someone who cycled 10 miles a day!) to no hunger, moody, and i had a bloody nose yesterday..??
It has been 8 months…..of not feeling well,my finance is about ready to give up on me as we had a lot of plans that had to be cancelled because of me not feeling up to it.
How long does this go on?help

It is possible you do have valley fever, which is an acute form of a fungal infectious condition, leading to a more serious chronic infection called coccidioidomycosis-it's a mouthfull,lol!- when left untreated.

Can you tell us where in the south you spend your winter and what exact symptoms are you suffering from? Please be specific.

How was you lung infection diagnosed? Was it diagnosed by clinical examination and symptoms and what was the treatment for it?

Did you have any other health issues, stress or anything else which may have compromised your immune system in the past, prior to the onset of this suspected infection?

Looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes.
