Autoimmune Disorder ..?

Hello,

I'll try to make this brief.  About 10 years ago I had a situation involving my spleen (cyst), heart (pericarditis), and lungs (plurisy).  I ended up having to remove my spleen and drain my lung.  Since then I have had a variety of "odd" symptoms: canker sores, Raynaud's, possible Grave's (but it mysteriously corrected itself - note: my brother has had Grave's and has had most of his tyroid removed), numerous nasty sinus infections, a variety of odd blood work (high ANA, high white bc, anemic).  My latest issue is my liver.  After a trip to the emergency room and a CT I was sent to a GI dr. who told me it appeared that I had cirrohsis and based on blood work and other factors I most likely had autoimmune hepatitis.  I had a multitude of tests, including a liver biopsy but now they tell me my liver is inflammed only.

I have never seen an autoimmune doctor.  Is it time?

thanks for your help.

A big fat YES!  I am really surprised your GP never sent you before, especially with a nigh ANA.  Everything you're experiencing may be connected and rheumatologist is the best doctor to diagnose and treat you.  Good luck and please keep us posted.
