Hello,
My father who is 77 was recently diagnosed with Micro Poly Angiitis, which is a sister to Wegeners Granulomatosis I know a little bit.  We have been through the wringer with my father.  He is home now, but on a lot of meds including Cytoxan a Chemo drug.

The official confirmation came from a kidney biopsy, but they knew that he had Vasculitis before the biopsy, by the time we did the biopsy is was basically to confirm Wegeners or MPA.  Wegener's effects the sinus area more and MPA doesn't just the lungs and kidneys, but his lungs were hemmoraging, and his kidneys were just about in complete renal failure in a matter of a few months it was very over whelming I wish you all the best, I'm sure if you or a family member is dealing with this you are very scared, but there is treatment and help out there.  If you need more details please feel free to email me any time, I know this is extremely rare and there isn't a lot of answers out there.
My heart goes out to you Mercygracious
