help with possible diagnosing

ok, I am or was a very healthy male in my 50's, recently I started having allergy like issues that were causing me to have asthma attacts, so I was provided with an inhaler and forwarded to an allergy doctor, well waited a month to get into him he was not a lot of help, just put me on a 3rd round of prednisone my symptoms have since changed along with being short winded at times of what seem to be attacks of some kind, my hands swell and turn red itch and are sore at the same time, did have one blood test come back positive it was an ANR which suggests I may have an auto immune issue which I believe could be arthritis, or they say I may have Lupus, of course I have to wait 3 more weeks to get into the rheumatologist, has any one else had these same symptoms????

Hi Fishgod.

With the limited information you posted, mainly allergy-related symptoms
and reactions along with a positive blood test which I could not find any match for, I'm unable to offer any insight.
Are you sure the test is called ANR?
