A Lupus flare can result in swollen lymph nodes,
however, Hashimoto's and Hypothyroidism if unregulated or under-regulated can also cause swollen lymph nodes as well as about 180 other symptoms!
Not a typo!
I have studied the work of Dr. Broda Barnes, one of the top thyroid doctors ever!
From all the thousands of  Hypothyroid patients he treated using Natural Desiccated Thyroid, NONE developed Lupus!
And from the ones who were already diagnosed with Lupus,  NONE developed any new signs of organ involvement, while being treated by Dr. Barnes for hypothyroidism!
Talk to your treating doctor about Natural Desiccated
Thyroid (NDT), as a better option than Levothyroxine, since NDT is naturally balanced and consists of T1, T2, T3 and T4 thyroid hormones.
Levethyroxine is only T4 (synthetic) and should you have  T4 to T3 conversion  problems, Levothyroxine is not only not helping you, it is making you sicker!!!
Ask for Free T3, Free T4 and Reverse T3 tests and please insist you get them. It is of utmost importance to truly know your thyroid function. Let me know your results if you decide for these, when you get them back.
Another interesting point regarding gluten, wheat and grains:
Most Hashimotos/ Hypothyroid sufferers have gluten intolerance and don't even know it!
The gluten molecules-mainly from gmo grains- resemble the TPO(Thyroid Peroxidase - an enzyme necessary for the signalling Thyroid hormone production) molecules and thus the immune system in its response against gluten, attacks the TPO in the Thyroid also!

Please post again and include some clarification regarding "... I have 17 swollen left nose they want to do a biopsy..."
After I read it about 3-4 times, I still couldn't decipher it!

Best wishes,
Niko
