Pain with Scleroderma??
Can you be in alot of pain with Scelroderma? I have not been diagnosed yet but i have localized swelling, hardness and pain on my thumb. The pain radiates through my whole hand and up my arm. This is the second time this has happened. I also have Hashimotos, Hypothryroidism and Fibromyalgia.
I will be going back to my rheumy on monday so im sure we will do all of the ANA tests again...you know..the whole autoimmune package! LOL!!
yes, you can have pain from scleroderma especially if you develop digital ulcers. Of course it may also be from the fibromyalgia... It seems like everyone that has sclero experiences a slightly different set of symptoms.
What types of diagnostic tests have you had so far?
There is a support group and message board on inspire.com with many people with scleroderma who will be able to tell you what kinds of pain they've had. I get a lot of support there (I have sine scleroderma)....
