Sjögren's Syndrome, newly diagnosed

Hi.
I've just been diagnosed with Sjögren's Syndrome.

It's taken 3 years of strange symptoms and many tests for a doctor to reach this conclusion.

It first started with trigeminal neuralgia. This was determined idiopathic because at that time a cause could not be determined.
A year or so later, I was diagnosed with eosinophilia. It too, determined idiopathic as yet again, a cause could not be determined.

Then my symptoms got worse. Crazy fevers, night sweats, chronic fatigue, horrid bone and joint pain... a trip to the doctor after the last fever incident indicated elevated eosinophils and a positive ANA test. My GP sent me to a rheumatologist who continued more testing. Yesterday, they called with the results from the Mayo Clinic. The Sjögren's test came back positive.

Does anyone have information about this disease? I've read tons online but personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering how this is going to affect my life.

Thanks.
