Sorry to hear about your health, it is frustrating, confusing and scary when no one can give you a definite diagnosis. I hope you find a doctor that will work with you. In the meantime, I do believe B12 deficiency can wreak havoc on your body and I too have B12 Deficiency
I give myself B12 injections every week (and I also have chronic vitamin D deficiency but cannot seem to stabalize the vitatmin D).
I do believe the injections help and my doctor told me you cannot "overdose" on B12 so I see no down side to using it
.
I have yet to get a firm diagnosis. The neuro absolutely believes it is SLE, my rheumy says it is primary Sjogren's, secondary SLE, the dermy says it is Atypical Graves disease and MS was another they are kicking around. I mention this because Sjogrens will really affect your mouth in so many ways, dry mouth, throat feels like closing, etc...
But as medication can cause Sjogrens and I am on so many, who knows.
Hope you get answers and get symptoms under control.
Carly
There is a Indian folk remedy which addresses the problem you have with your mouth. Google "Oil Pulling". It is suppose to remove toxins from the body. I use a few drops of Oregano Oil in my sunflower oil. Oregano Oil has one of the best results in killing bacteria and viruses.
many years ago approx 30 i was having balance problems, weakness in legs making walking difficult, memory difficulties, and a dizziness that just would not let up. i had 2 3month bouts in one year. they sent me out of town to a hospial and after around of test came up with lo b12 and query MS.
my family doc at that time did nothing about the b12 (personallly i didn't think anything about ether of the either.
15 years later after fight infection after infections and began crawling up the stairss had lost alot of weight, new doc does run of tests sure enough low b12 again and this doc says als long as you are not a vegan and you eat red meat you'll be fine. ended up in the hospital after falling down their flight of stairs to get to the right location,
hospitalized for 2 months including 2 month fore rehabilitation. siting up took too much energey. finally i go out of town to see a neuro who jumps at low b12. (usually also a precursor to ms). Immediately i was bput on monthly shots. now i can't tell if things would have gotten worse without the b12 but i can say that for the las 15 yrs except for the last few months i think it has helped me. i would definitely talk to your gp about going on monthly b12.injections.
hope this helps
