   Happy Birthday!!!   Hey, the title MOM holds a lot of weight to it.....You are an awesome, loving mother!

     I agree, the closer to home for Casey, the better. I do the same thing as here lately, we get some where and within 20 - 30 min...I have to be taken home. This really *****!
Guessing a lot has to do with the heat and the NCS and the MS........

     Glad your ankle is healing :)

This weekend is our annual family reunion, which unfortunately takes place in the hot central valley, so, for the second year in a row, we will be missing it. Casey just can't tolerate the hot whether anymore. :(

Instead, we are going to a party at a local family friend's house, so if Casey feels ill, home is only minutes away, instead of hours.

It also happens to be my birthday this weekend, but that's nothing, just a quiet celebration at home. And anyway, I'm just the mom, not the sick one in the family (unless a broken ankle counts, but it's nearly well now).
