Rossie- I can't wiat until your big annoucement!
Teri- Good luck with your GTT
Good morning...
I'm doing great. GTT is tomorrow, so I'm avoiding carbs today and I have to fast from 9pm until tomorrow so wish me luck with that lol.
Can't wait to hear about your little GIRL in three days, Rossie! LOL.
Good morning Ladies!!! How is everyone doing today??
Me, just counting the days, 3 more to go!!
OK, I need a double dose of SSBD, I wasn't around yesterday so fill er up!!!!
TC- Thanks!
Thanks for all the support ladies- I posted pics from the ultrasound in my profile :)
steph_b, glad the u/s went so well!
Deb, I feel like once I get my 20 week scan, I may be able to relax a bit. I just keep taking each day and continually praying that my baby will be healthy. I actually did not use the doppler today b/c I don't want to over do it. I do love the reassurance and hearing the heart beat. I'm going to try to check it every other day instead of every day...we'll see how that goes ;) Oh and don't worry about your size, you look great. I am already so big in the belly but by the end of the 9 months...watch out! My belly always sticks way out, it's actually unbelievable...lol.
Congratulations Steph_b! Great news on the ultrasound.
Good luck this month Lori, you deserve it!
Congrats on the boy! Is that what you were hoping for?
Hi Ladies! Just stopping by to pick up my SSBD, i'm now in the TWW and I need an endless supply!
Deb- LOL about the 3 legs! BTW, you look fantastic!
Steph_b- so happy for you! Can't wait to see your pics!
Good morning Ladies,
Steph so happy you utrasound went well. I was so happy when they did mine at 13wks and said my baby measured perfectly. I had my blood work done then i had the second have done, and i will find out the results on my appt the 28th. I have my monthly appt after the ultrasound so it will be great to have eveything done the same day... Look forward to you posting your pic.
How is everyone else doing?
Steph your NT measurement is fantastic... well within the paramaters of normal =) There will be no red flags on that and I just know your bloods are all going to come back marvelous too. Its lovely when you get to see baby and can start to relax into it isn't it. Did you get any indicators as to what you are having?
It took me until my 20 week scan to start to believe I was actually going to get a baby at the end of my pregnancy.
P.s your belly pic is just toooo cute!!! such a neat little bump... I am jealous! I don't think my camera has a wide lense so may not be able to post any more lol
haha Deb, I sure hope your girl doesn't have 3 legs...
I had my first trimester US screening done yesterday. The baby was dancing around the whole time. It was so great to watch, I was also so glad hubby could be there. The heartrate was 165 bpm and my due date is still 7/31. the NT measurement was 1.5, not really sure what that means, but they said anything under 3.0 was normal. I will get my blood work back sometime in the next week I think. Such a relief- I feel like I can actually enjoy this pregnancy now. I will post pictures soon, my scanner wasn't working last night.
I did the chinese predictor calender and they said Girl.... Everyone that sees me says I am having a girl!!! I am definately having a boy unless it is a little girl wit 3 legs =)
Hey, ladies!
I did the Chinese gender predictor too and it said boy, but Chloƫ's a girl LOL.
I did the same and it told me girl too!! We will soon find out.
Steph...I hate the later appointments, too...but you get an u/s so you're lucky!! Be sure to eat something b/4 you go so the baby will be moving around.
I did the chinese gender predictor, too and got girl. That's what I was thinking anyway. We shall see...in 5 1/2 weeks...
Hello Ladies!
Only a few more hours until my ultrasound- these days always go by so slowly. I cna't wait to see my baby moving around, then to the lab for the blood work that goes along withthe 1st trimester screening.
Rossie-I was all excited for only having to wait 1 more day to find out the sex, but a week isn't too long either! I'm still saying boy. I did the chinese gender predictor and got boy-I'm sure it's not correct all the time, but it was still fun
Lori-I hope you have stored all your baby dust for the month and we will be seeing a BFP soon.
Rossie- now you let me down! LOL
Oops, typo, my ultrasound is a week away, lol, wk 18 on the 28th.
Steph, good luck with your u/s today!
Rossie, I can't wait to hear what you're having!! Happy 17 weeks! I've been using the doppler every day but just for a minute or two...I pick up the hb and listen for less than a minute. I just feel like the reassurance helps me be less stressed.
Deb, I'm sorry you're not feeling great. I am so happy you changed and are getting the right care. Take it easy...if you can!
Mary, I have had some headaches but no migraines yet. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Terri, I can't wait for the kickboxing stage ;)
Morning! Here to collect once again!
Deb- Great move! I'm glad now that you'll be getting the proper care. Hope you feel better soon!
Steph_b- good luck today! Can't wait to see some pics!
Rossie- WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
Good morning ladies,
Natalie, they say the doppler doesn't do anything to the baby, it works on the same concept as the ultrasound and no more that a few minutes..
Deb - I'm glad you were able to change midwives, and hopefully your situation with pre-eclamsia doesn't get bad. My best friend is almost 31wks 4 days and she has the beginning of it plus they found sugar in her urine so they are monitorin her for gestational diabetes as well now.... So be well and stay healthy!!
As for me happy to report that im 17wks today and my ultrasound is only a day away.
Steph B - good luck at your ultrasound today, look forward to seeing the new pics of your baby!!
Deb- I'm glad you will be getting all the care you need with your new birthing team- Hopefully they can do something to make you feel better :)
Hi everyone, just dropping in to give you all a quick wave and sprinkle some baby dust on my way to work.
Good luck to everyone with their scans... looking forward to some more pics and finding out what Rossie is expecting =)
Not much news from me, I have completely written off my midwives as the staff at the hospital I was in over Christmas confirmed my worries and fears that they were neglecting to give me the care I need so have moved all my midwife care and the birth to a new team of midwives/consultants at the hospital I have my oncologist and heamotologist which makes more sense. I am just waiting for a booking in appointment with them. In the meantime I am being closely monitored at my dr's as started showing early signs of pre-eclamsia but nothing too severe at this stage although don't feel too well.... never mind a small price to pay for my wonderful blessing!
