ACDF Recovery

I had a work injury on 11/02/2014. The result, a whiplash like injury. I had a ACDF ,with hardware of C5-6 .It is not fused yet as of December of 2015. I'm seeing a Attorney. He sent me to a Chiropractor. He wants to manipulate my neck. Should I let him, or no until fusion is complete. There are many other issues with my neck, from the accident, that have not been addressed yet. I will be 62 on 5/20/2016

I agree, don't let them adjust you at a chiropracticor yet till all is fused and cleared by the doctor to do so. I had asked my doc about going back to the chiropractor after my L5/S1 fusion and he said no, not till fused. I also asked about using my inversion table to hang upside down to help my back and they also said no to that too. Be very careful.  Don't want to do more harm. Take care!

I've had a couple ACDFs myself, one at C6/7 and 5/6.
Do not let a Chiropractor adjust your neck, even after your fused, its just too dangerous.
