Back and leg pain for years, thoughts?

For the past ~10 years I have had pain in my lower back, hips and upper thighs that is painful to the touch. I frequently get charlie horses at night (it used to be every night for a couple years since 2015, now it's every week or so). I can't say for sure, but when I was younger it seemed to be only in my lower back. My leg pain has only started within the last 3-4 years.

It basically feels like the areas are permanently bruised, so even light touch feels very similar to poking a bruise.

I've had an MRI that shows no signs of MS, and have had blood work to rule out other things (arthritis, Lupus, Lyme disease) and everything has come back fine. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this before?

Have you had an MRI of lumbar spine? Those symptoms typically occur with a pinched nerve ,disc bulge or herniation in the lumbar spine. If you look up dermatome maps, you can see where each level in the spine effects certain areas of the body. A pair of nerve roots exit between each vertebra, and innervate a specific area of the spine.
