Back issue spreading to body

Several weeks ago I was having severe pain in the middle of my back just under the right shoulder blade near my spine. the only thing this was causing was trouble bending and lifting for about 3 weeks, however when driving the other day my depth perception and sense of time started to go all haywire. While I was only going about 30 mph the road in front of me, which I was 3 blocks from a T intersection, seemed to go on for miles and be over almost at the same moment. I forced myself to breath steady and stop the car as safely as possible and it passed in less then 5 mins, about an hour after that i was at work and had the same issue, I would try to walk the few feet to a table and would run into it before I knew I was there. That was about 2 days ago, in the last 2 days I have had that happen maybe once or twice, however I have been losing the sensation in my arms and body as if they were asleep but while just sitting down or walking around. Scratching an itch feels like someone else is touching me... I quit smoking 4 months ago tomorrow and only take ibuprofen for pain, have never felt anything like this before but at the current time due to my income I am attempting to let this play out rather then go to the doctor.

I would also like to point out I am an athletic build 27 year old male with nothing that would indicate what this is caused by in my history.

Hi there!

The backache, decreased perception and loss of sensation in the arms are likely to be three separate issues. While backache issues could result from postural, spinal/ structural, neuro-muscular issues etc. ; perception issues could result from hypoglycemia, nutritional deficiencies, high or low blood pressure, neurological issues etc; while loss of sensation could occur from nerve trauma/ nerve compression, neuropathies (primary or secondary to causes such as endocrinal/ metabolic issues, micronutrient deficiencies etc), a few infections etc. It would be best to get these evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the causes diagnosed/ suspected, these can be treated accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
