Big toe and leg numbness

I have been diagnosed with a bulging disks in my back. Since then they gave me one cortisone injection and didnt really do much after that. Recently I have been having such bad back pain that when I get out of bed in the morning I can hardly walk. I also have started to get numbness in my right big toe. The numbness runs on the left side of the toe, all the way down. I have also noticed numbness in my legs and feet when having a bowel movement. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Got get a mri  That is signs of nerve damage, your disk could be herniated now and pressing on the nerves. Get an appointment asap to have it checked. You take the risk of it becoming permanent if you don't and also take it easy. No lifting, bending, twisting ect. I have permanent damage because I didn't listen to what my body was trying to tell me. There is a nerve chart on my profile that may be helpful. It shows what the nerves control. Good luck to you.
