Cervical Ephidural Shots Anyone?

OK, so today i went to another Pain Mgmt Doc.  He is going to do his best to get me off meds, as they're not even helping at this point.  I am scheduled for Cervical Ephidural Injections for Monday Morning at 9:15am!  They will be the guided ones, through a Florascope (not sure thats the correct spelling). I will be put out, unlike the last 2 shots I had, which I was awake and it was done by hand... Yes by hand.

I was wondering if ANYONE has had these shots this way and their experience and pain relief.  Please advise.

all epidurals are done by hand under a scope..you may be getting a transforaimal injection where you are put under anesthesia..either case steroids are injected..take 24 to 72 hours to work ( if they are going to work)...most people need at least 2 shots..not more then 3 in a 6 month period..find out exactly what is being done.

I will be waiting to see the answer to this post, too.  I have had 5 cervical epiderals, and have always been awake for all of them.
