Pain in the neck.

Around December of last year I started getting pain in my neck.  I started getting muscle spasms and they were awful.  My dr gave me naproxen and muscle relaxers.   The naproxen did nothing but the muscle relaxers were my life saver.  After a few months, it has simmered down and I am able to sleep again without pills.  I had a ct scan and it told me that I have problems with 4 out of the 7 vertebrae and also a pinched nerve in my neck.  My problem is this and I have talked to many people with neck pain and no one has experienced this.  I can't walk without terrible pain in my neck.  I can walk around the house with no problem but when I'm out and I walk fast, the pain hits hard and I have to stop for a few mins to let it go back to normal.  I also get the pain in the collarbone, around that spot too.  I asked the dr about angina and he said no ...its from the neck.   Has anyone ever had this ?
