Is my cyst Tarlov or Syringomyelia ???

Due to chronic pain and unable to walk and stand and a variety of other symptoms, I finally got an MRI of my lumbar (I've been complaining of my pain in my sacral though) and they found a tiny CFS cyst. The neurologist suggested Syringomyelia but when it didn't go higher into my thoracic he said it wouldn't be causing me any symptoms (I'm in a wheelchair from pain) and I was fine. I convinced my GP to MRI my sacral and in my research today at what else could cause my pain and symptoms, Tarlov came up, and actually matches me more than Syringomyelia. How do they tell the difference between Tarlov and Syringomyelia??? All I see is that they are both CFS cysts in your spine. Also my doctors aren't experienced with either. I need to be my own advocate.

Thanks,
Emily
