Kyphosis, straightening of cervical lordosis, and muscle spasms

I had a cervical MRI done 2 years ago which indicated that I had "subtle kyphosis". This week, I had a repeat of the MRI and this time the report only mentions "straightening of the normal cervical lordosis". Does this mean that the kyphosis resolved itself, or it is just a difference in the report authors and which terms they use?

Also, for what its worth, both reports note muscle spasms...which have apparently been ongoing for the last 2 years. What can be done about that?

My PCP ordered the MRIs and he doesn't really know how to read the films, but I'm going to see a neurosurgeon in September, so I guess at this point I will just have to wait until then. I figured it was likely due to just how different radiologists describe things, but I didn't know if there was some set "point" where it goes from being a general note of "straightening of the normal cervical lordosis" to the more 'formal' sounding "kyphosis"

It's hard to say, it's not uncommon for Radiologist to interpret MRI's differently.
Assuming the Doctor who ordered these MRIs has the ability to read them, I would ask him/her.

As far treatment, ime it's usually muscle relaxants and or P.T.
