lump on my throat

I had a lump in my throat as a baby which would bleed and pus would come out of It eventually it just became a scar never knew what it was or why I got it just wondering if anyone knows or had this as well

Hello thanks for the advice but it never hurt until now it kind of got swollen right on the area I've been meaning to go to the doctor but end up just getting kind of scared to know what it is:/

Difficult to say what it was—may be an infected cyst or a boil or tuberculosis of lymph node or a fistula. If it has healed and you do not have any problem then it’s probably ok. If the scar itches, become red or warm or bleeds, please consult a doctor immediately. Take care!
