cervical pinched nerve

i have a pinched nerve in my neck. would that make my fingers and hand stay numb? and would it cause me to lose my balance when i walk and should i quit bowling

they done  ct scan mri and cervical mylegram n said i have narrowing in  neck . they are doing an emg tuesday and im spose to see a surgeon . i dont know if therapy or what they will do  from there. Larry ty

I would say 'yes' to all three.  You need to take a doctor's advice on the last one but when I was undergoing diagnostic tests for a pinched nerve, I was afvised by a consultant not to engage in physiotherapy until they could determine where the pinch was happening.  This was to prevent furrther damage or even severing the nerve altogether.  

What are they planning to do with you?
