how to treat this c4-c5

disk bulging and right posterior paracentral portrusion is demonstrated. the protruded disc abuts the ventral aspect of the spinal cord.there is associated decreased ap thecal sac diameter at this level consistent with mild spinal stenosis .there is facet degenaeration and mild right and moderate left neuroforaminal stenosis.

I had my c5-c6 fused last april and again i have alot of pain after surgery and a 8 months of therapy. he and others think its from the c4-c6 disk. IVE HAD 2 EPIDERALS ALREADY IN THE C4-C5 AREA AND DIDNT HELP.

My doc wants to fuse the disk and make the facet a little larger by drilling the hole bigger so the nerves can move around if that makes sense.any suggestions  thank you. he did a great job on c5-c6 all the pain there in that area left and new pain showed up on the other side of my neck and other side of my upper to middle back.after surgery some how aboput 8 weeks i had another mri and it showed c7-t1 herniated slightly how the hell did that happen. i wasnt doing anything but walking and therapy

you're running into an unfortunate but common reality of cervical fusion. The neck moves through a great range of motion and more than any other part of the body. When you fuse one part, the other part has to move more to take up the missing movement. You wear out the levels above and below the fusion more quickly. You may have been warned of this by your surgeon. Also, you have findings of spinal stenosis (a degenerative condition you'd likely have had no matter what), that is likely at least partially responsible for your problems. Sorry but it sounds like further surgery may be necessary. It's usually a better idea to seek a neurosurgeon for this type of surgery.  Best wishes.
