lower back and right hip pain

i woke up a week ago with pain in my lower back and now it has moved to my right hip ,i found it difficult to get out of bed this morn ,any idea whats wrong with me ,im in agony ,karen

You have more than likely injured your back some how.  Do you remember picking something heavy up, slipping, etc?  It could be a strained muscle or something such as a herniated disc.  Both of these can result in pain radiating down your body.  If you think it is not getting better, you should make an appointment with your GP.  For the time being you can use an ice pack and take antiinflammatory medications such as ibuprofen.  When you sleep, sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees.
