neck pain

I got in a wreck last Oct. I have moderately dehydrated dics, which are C2-C3, C3-C4, and C5-C6, and there is also bulging. I have pains that go through my arms to my hands, and they also go numb. Now I am having muscle spasams in my lower back to my legs. My doctor wants me to get some injections, but I want something that will take care of the problem not just bandage it. What should I do?

Nothing is without risk in this world....although shots sound tempting and sometimes work, at least for the short term, a lot depends on just what they use in the injection.  If it's something called depo-medrol, please do some research before agreeing to anything.  Google the term and and read everything you can find so that you can make an informed decision.  I would try physical therapy first, or even possibly a chiropractor.  Good luck.  MJ
