360 back surgery

I had a ALIF (anterior /front approach) plus a PLIF (posterior/back approach) for my discectomy, fusion L4/5, and laminectomy). Many problems - cut iliac vein > blood clot during surgery. 3 months post opt: nerve pain in both legs with numbness, very weak legs that now cause me to fall. Anybody have anything similiar?

I have heard of this. Nerve damage is inherent risk, I take it, of the surgery. What does the doctor say? I'm so sorry this happened! I have read that the numbness can last for a bit but usually isn't total paralysis. I am wondering what your doctor is telling you.
