Back/Neck/Shoulder Pain (Please Help!)

Hi, I'm 17 years old and I'm having problems with my upper and lower back, neck, and shoulders. This has been going on for about a year and a half. My pains aren't sharp, but more of a long lasting pain. I don't remember ever injuring myself that could of caused this. I feel this pain randomly, but noticed that it hurts if I wear something heavy. Any sort of heavy jacket will cause it to ache. Now, however, even a lightweight hooded sweatshirt will cause it to ache. Also, if I walk a certain distance or stand a certain lenght of time, my lower back starts to ache a lot. I've already been to the doctor, and he basically said that he didn't know. I took an x-ray, but I'm assuming there's nothing wrong with my spine itself (since he never mentioned anything), but he also said that it could be muscle related and that I should see a physical therapist. But, I'd rather not spend all that money on something that might not even work. And my mom recently used physical therapy with excersies and ultra-sound, but it didn't help at all. My mom also said that it could be that I might need to lose some weight and/or improve my posture.
Anyways, I'd very much appreciate if anyone can help me out by giving me an idea of what I might have and what I can do to get rid of this.

Yes,I agree with AshGreenEyed.
It seem soft tissue injury due to old hurting. If you didn't suffer from scoliosis ( symptom same as you have),just do posture and back strengthening exercises and a lot of walking...you should be better..Good luck!

I am a sufferer also, but it is worth giving it a go with physiotherapy/accupuncture. You could start with posture and back strengthening exercises, because it would be muscle degeneration from an old injury or something like that. Try the stretches, its worth it and better than doing nothing. Try hot hot showers then doing the stretches, when you aren't as stiff, and heatpacks. :)
