Car accident

Since being in a major car accident in February I have had constant back and neck pain, the pain is so great that I rarely sleep. The pain is literally taking over - no matter what I do, I'm a 23 year old female who was healthy with minimal problems other than school stress. I see a chiropractor 3 times a week, truthfully I don'd see much improvement. My last disc in my lumbar section is herniated and I have several bulged discs in my cervical section. I was not recommended for any surgery until a year from the accident, but I really want to avoid that route anyways. I was also limited to what type of exercising I could do as well, this kinda puts in a fog. All I can really do is walk and I feel like I don't even have the stamina for that anymore. Are there any secrets out there that I'm missing, what are treatments for herniated discs? They  don't really repair or go back to normal, sorry but I only see an orthopedic doctor every 3 months and its literally a 10 minute consult! So frustrating...

I will definitely look into this! I had to get cobra health insurance because after being out of work for a few weeks they terminated me. My biggest battle is sleeping, I toss and turn and I've even tried sleeping in a chair etc... nothing works. I'll me using my awake time doing research thanks!!!

I can feel your pain!!! I have bulging discs at C5-C6 and the pain radiated down my left arm.Like you,I tried Chiropractors, physical therapy, ortho Dr,with no relief. After suffering for about a year or so,I was diagnosed with breast cancer and ended up in pain management. She gave me cervical traction and I could do it at home too.It pulls the discs apart,I got instant relief and did it like 4 times a day.Insurance pays for it or if you have none, you can buy on Ebay.It is expensive,I take Oxycontin,Oxycodone and Dilaudid now so it doesn't bother me anymore. You can google cervical traction to learn more about it or I'll answer anything I can.I hope you find some relief because I know how bad it hurts.
