Herniated Discs

I was in a car accident over a year ago and have been treated ever since for severe back and neck pain.  MRIs show I have 2 lumbar herniations and 3 cervical herniations.  I'm planning to have 2 cervical dics replaced in January.  My question is...I have had ongoing and more frequent nausea, and sometimes vomiting....the nausea started right after the accident....can my back problems be causing this? Has anyone experienced these symptoms related to disc herniations?

Thank you for sharing.  Here's another question on car accidents.  The other driver was 100% at fault, and lawsuit is pending. Has anyone gone through the whole lawsuit/trial thing?  Have you had the other insurance company watching you?

Yes i have 1 herniated disc in the neck and 4 in the mid spine and i feel sick everyday and also have bowel problems..i beleive it is compression of the nerves coming away from the spine from the disc damage.

Hope this helps

Wow sound like we were in the same car.
I have two cervercal hernations 4 thoraic and 4 lumbar. But i have to say no to the issues you brought up from herniations but yes from some of the pain meds i was taking.
Fentonal made me very sick so my Doc switched me to Opana and Oxycodone for break thru pain witch helped alot.Altho stress can also cause the issues you mentioned hope this helped some.
