Also, maybe you should call your doctor(s) and tell them what the PT is doing and see what is appropriate. A  lot of times the doctors don't want you to get all the things the PT's try to make you do. My doctor was upset because my PT told me to stop taking my muscle relaxant and also because his prescription told him I had myofasicial pain syndrome and to be gentle and the PT rediagnosed me with SI joint, ignored what the doctor said and I ended up getting injured and couldn't walk much or do anything and got into severe pain from him. So, make sure the docs are informed . Sometimes they will just say to go ahead and follow what the PT says (That what I got at first) then later when the guy pushed me too hard and did all the manipulation the doctor didn't like it. So, it really is up to you and your pain tolerance and also whether what he is doing makes sense. I think it is too soon. Also that a PT shouldn't be doing this kind of work. Try to clarify that particular thing and be specific. You may have to go in to the office to get the doctors attention.

Our modern lifestyle – with all its perks and benefits – has started to take a toll on our bodies. Back pain, knee pain, and neck strains have become everyday problems. People use over-the-counter ointments, oils, pain killers and sometimes even massages for such problems. However, seeing a physiotherapist doesn’t cross anyone’s minds till things are so bad that they are actually referred to one by their doctor. For back pain, neck pain, sports injuries we need chiropractic.

I went to one I was referred to also by my doctor and he ended up hurting too. The doctor actually apologized (which is very rare from a doctor). Did the doctor tell you you had to do manipulation or chiro from the PT? If not just have that PT do regular stretches and strenthening.

I don't think a PT should be doing chiropractic work on you at all. I went to one that did an adjustment on me and I haven't been the same since. I also don't like chiropractic work anyway. You would be better off seeing a real doctor. If you like doing PT tell them no manual manipulations and no manual therapy, just regarding stretches and strenghtening. This is my opinion. The PT's are all different they have no regulations. They get their PH.D.(which is a MS with  two years of practise)  or MS from a school and pass their exam but no one watches over them as far as I can see. I have had 3 bad out of 4.
